What is Invisalign?
Invisalign is a series of invisible and removable clear aligners available to Northeast Ohio patients. They are worn to straighten your teeth without braces. The aligners are made with 3D computer imaging so they are very accurate and effective.
How does it work?
We will give you multiple sets of aligners at each visit. You would wear each set for 2 weeks, removing them only to eat, brush, and floss. Each set of aligners acts like a tightening of braces to progressively straighten your teeth over time. You would see Dr. Souris only a few time during the course of treatment to assure that the tooth movement is progressing properly. Total treatment time depends on each individual case and can vary from 6-24 months.
What are the advantages over traditional treatment?
The aligners are clear and invisible so they are very difficult for others to notice during treatment. They are also removable so you can eat and drink what you want while in treatment. In addition, they are much more comfortable since there are no braces or wires to irritate the cheeks and gums.
